Special Projects

Bible Baptist Church is happy to be used of the Lord in several special projects throughout the state.

Early on in our church's history, we sent Pastor Garry Matheny to plant the Bible Baptist Church in Poulsbo, WA, now pastored by Pastor Richard Graves. More recently our church commissioned Pastor Rick Wilder to plant the Olympia Bible Baptist Church in Olympia, WA. This church is now organized and self supporting. In 2006 we commissioned Pastor Aaron Shipman, to plant the Tahoma Baptist Church in Kent, WA. This church organized in the summer of 2007. Finally we commissioned Pastor Mike Karch to plant the Bridgeway Baptist Church in Kennewick, WA.

We are also the home church for Missionary Chaplain Lance Hohenstreet. Bro. Lance serves with the Rock of Ages Prison ministry in the military prisons. Although he conducts revivals and other special ministries in military prisons around the country, his primary responsibilities are to the Regional Corrections Facility at Ft. Lewis and the Naval brig in Bremerton.
