Faith In Action

Phase I of the project involves upgrading the appearance of the front of the building with new siding and a steeple. This project has beautified the appearance of our facilities as is it viewed from Canyon RD.

                                                  Phase I

As of November 16, 2008 more than $320,644.21 has been contributed through our Faith in Action Building Campaign and other special gifts.  We believe it will cost $350,000-$400,000 to construct the new auditorium.

Of course we always welcome others to join with us in Faith in Action. If you are interested in that program please speak to Pastor McKenzie. If you would rather not commit to a program but would like to help with our building program we would invite you to give any donation you please designated toward the building.

                                Phase II

Phase II is becoming closer to a reality. We have brought in Pastor Mike Caswell to oversee us to the place of permits and hiring a contractor for the construction. Some changes in our original plans have been made which we are really excited about. The new concept involves inclosing the courtyard and bringing the main entry from the north east side of the building to the north central side into a foyer area that is now the courtyard. We would leave the auditorium where is is currently and plan some upgrades in it. We would also re-roof the fellowship hall and remodel inside to remove the old baptistry area and make at least one new classroom.

This concept will cost less and give us the advantage of new space, rather than just shifting space around and increasing the size of one of those spaces.
